    Bergera B-14 HMR trigger replacement

Anyone on here changed the trigger on their HMR ?

Did a quick google-fu search and it seems the standard HMR uses a heavy firing pin and/or spring that means you struggle to go below 2lbs even with aftermarket triggers ?

Not sure if this is just confusion on some of the American forums, or a real issue. Keen to hear some real world experiences, and also what makes of trigger people have tried.

Tx @mikee, when you chat to him again, pls ask him if he had any issues installing it, had to go to lighter firing pin etc, also what pull weight he got it down to ?

@ebf I changed mine on 308 HMR to Jewell I’d bought from someone on forum. Simple drop in probably under 8oz from memory. Straightforward.

A simple way to do it that I've heard of is to cock the (empty) rifle, tie a string to the trigger with a bottle attached, and pour water slowly into it till you hear the trigger break as it hits the resistance threshold.

Then take the bottle off, and weigh it.
