    Best rings for Tikka setup

    Hey guys and girls,

Got myself a tikka veil widelands which is still in transit but wanted to sort some scope rings out before it arrives so I'm ready to go. For the life of me I can't figure out what the mounting system is. Any advice on this and also I guess advice on what the best brand rings to go for.

    Thanks in advance guys

Optilocks if you want to mount to the dove tail. Or a picatanny rail and then any rings that mount on the rail.

I run talleys on most of my hunting tikkas,
Rail and rings on my comps rifle, but not needed for majority of hunting rifles.

Talleys. Simple choice for a standard hunting rifle.

I've probably got some talleys in both 1 inch and 30mm if you need some

Talleys. Get as low as you can go on a standard Tikka stock.

LMcNab had some of these on his rifles and rated them. Bought some from the States directly in medium mounts. On my T3 223. We have 2 other T3's with Optilocks. But these DNZ are super rock solid. Head shooting last 5 deer using them and 53 gr Barnes. They are impressive rings.

Another one which is not advertised is a set of leupold ones. Same as talleys in principle but way superior in fit and finish.

Nz Asia usually have them in stock and can send them to your local shop .

A couple of things I have found.
Just mounted an nx8 on talleyz to a client's xbolt
All went well till I tried to stretch the legs on it.
    Any way.
Just looking for a scope and mount to stick on a rebarelled tikka.
Rememberd I had a lephoto mount and rings
    Hers a photo.
Even comes with internal bubble level and screwed on to the tikka dovetail.
    20moa as well.
Has ur scope perfect to the bore..
    Pretty goòd value for $250.
    Going to test rig tomorrow

Does the recoil resisting plate (meant for a pic rail) not get in the way?
