Best Suppressor 4 17HMR
As the heading says, what's the most effective ( noise reduction ) on a 17 HMR.
Weight doesn't overly bother me but I would like to get the noise down as low as possible.
I am not a fan of the DPT modular baffle system, great kiwi product and very nicely made but a pain in the arse to clean.....not that I ever really clean a suppressor anyway but I had baffles seized together and just to many bits.
Any recommendations you guys have would be great. cheers

I use a Gunworks one on my CZ. Works well.

Yep ive got an over barrel MAE looks nice and works OK, but I also have a Gunworks stubby screw on, not over barrel, and that works well. Look at the Schultz and Larsen range, well priced and work well

Have been told good things about the HRE rimfire suppressors yet to try one my self

Got a hardy muzzle forward on mine. Works very well but haven't compared it to any others.

Thanks guys, brought a Marlin 17 this weekend, stainless and fluted barrel, came with a DPT can, not a big DPT fan but I will admitt it's big, light and very effective.....as long as the baffles don't seize up together I am impressed.
Thanks for the input guys, as usual it's very appreciated.

Viper, we live in an age where there are some pretty phenomenal anti seize compounds around. I am sure with a damn good clean and the use of such a compound, your DPT can will be just fine.
