Do the 1422 have the 2 stage match triggers. A mate of mine bought an older 14xx with the 54 action and trigger is not as refined.

Awesome thread. No mention of Walther KKJs(I just bought one, but in 22 Hornet). Light, beautiful walnut stock and deep bluing. I have not shot mine yet, but everybody onlime seems to be happy with its accurate. I also have a Mauser MM410B - a true classic and a tack driver, but definitely not a match rifle.

@Dicko My 1422 in 22magnum has double set triggers and in 22lr has crisp single stage trigger

Anyone wanting to part with a 1522 with a rollover cheek piece.....I would love to hear from you.
It helps to have the sun shining on it, really glows when I oil it.

The anschutz with the fortner action would be the Bugatti of the 22’s.

    I have a 1422 with a double set trigger.
And I think hunting and fishing have a couple of nice 222 anschutz on the shelf .

I like them and they're sometimes made in left hand. Would be very happy to own one, but my old Remington 581 LH shoots so well I can't justify replacing it.

    A big boys rimfire

I don’t think you will find the consistency in accuracy from the T Bolt is as good as you get with a high grade Annie.

In rimfires the trigger is everything, which is why the 1700’s do so well. Also consistency in feeding from the mag and ejecting spent cases cleanly if you compete.
