Only a mother could love that baby:)
:D
Wait until it is a teenager. It will be nothing but trouble.
He had a Ruger .44 semi for years, took it to Australia and it was put through the grinder...apparently after handing it over, he went out side and had an acute sentimental moment...neat little shooter, great in the bush...
I want one of these for Christmas... nice to hold and i like the adjustable LOP.
They have a 223 version out now in the US, that would be nice too... at least my elder son could use it them... hmmmm

Who ever designed that rifle was either pissed out of his brain or really likes ugly
You mean they were drinking Waikato? That would explain many design faults in the world.
Fair few blokes over here have jumped on the Ruger Scout wagon, not really my cup of tea, but as has been said beauty is in the eye of the beer holder. I just cant get the idea of having those magazines hanging way down low, but can see they would be useful if blatting away at big mobs of pigs or a goat cull. The bottom of the butt could have finished a bit better. Hope he enjoys it.
Why oh why do they not use a std double stack mag,eg ar10 or m14?
I bought one but could not stand how far the mag stuck out for only ten rounds, don't get wrong-ten is plenty but it does stick out a long way for a ten shot mag.
Sold it without even blooding it and built up a scout style blr.
