Looking for a new bipod, 6-9 inch, no swivel, no tilt, spring which pushes legs out and notched legs.
What brand would you recommend? Would like a Harris but bit expensive so recommendations for a brand cheaper than that.
TIA

Harris
1A2 model
Accept no imitations :)
Those $90 Remington ones are ok. The guys here will prob mention the cheaper bushbuck ones too.
You gets what you pays for.
I have seen a lot of those Remington bipods lose the two small pins that lock into the sling swivel stud.
Don't waste your money, spend more and buy the Harris, it will save you money in the long run, believe me, I know!
I might still have one of those harris ones here from memory. I know I have a Buffalo River copy of one but that is the swivel one. They were around $160 from memory but I have to check it hasn't been sold already.....(brand new still in packet)
Or the versa pod knockoff from DX that Norway often uses.

@25/08IMP thanks for the offer, I am in Australia but.
ive tried many, still go back to harris everytime. cheap ones will fail you at the worst possible moment.
only use for a cheapy is to stick on a kids rifle to get them used to shooting before teaching them to fire from the shoulder
Sun optics at workshop innovations has a life time warranty mines all good
I've had a Remington one for over 6 years and there's still nothing wrong with it
