You always wind in your line to post on a Blaser thread.
I like justifying them to the non converted.
Its fun. At the end of the day who really cares.
We all know what we know and that's about it.
I admit to being very skeptical about them when I first seen one.
It was given to me to use for a season on meat and I had one ordered within a week.
I will never look back. I have shot countless animals that I would have missed out on with a turnbolt.
Speed of the action and SAFELY hunting with a chambered round were a plus.

Do what ya want! Ya will anyway.
Buy a Tikka and nobody believes you how good it is or buy a blazer and nobody believes you how good it is......I'm confused: sure as hell not going to mention what guns I've got![]()
VC, I want to know where you can get a finnlight for $2k
Shut up, get out & start pushing!
They come up reasonably often outdoorlad, 1500-1800 for a plain old 75 1800-2200 seams to be about the goin rate for a finlight unless it has been dicked around with then like anything else the owner will want new price for all the "upgrades"

308Win One chambering to rule them all.
So the 3 recent buyers of r8s have all sold to buy something lighter?

I had the opportunity to spend a day hunting with a mates R8. By the end of the day I was ready to throw it down a bank! Cool engineering but way too heavy. I now own an R93 with Christensen Carbon stock, fluted attache barrel, Delta suppressor topped with March 2.5-25x42 scope. Neat light weight rig... just waiting on one of those Neopod bipods to complete the light weight blaser package. Might invest in a carbon wrapped barrel in the future.
