I’m looking for a blaze vest which has a bit of padding and decent amount of pockets for Gear. I’d be wearing this whether that’s winter gear or summer gear so would have to have a bit of space and room to go over bulky items in winter .
I’m also looking for something that’s got a little bit of padding to it. Not so much as a down ski jacket, but not as thin as a normal high viz vest.
Any recommendations for brands and models and price at all ?

Consider the colour and how visible it will be to colourblind shooters. Many men have colour blindness to a greater or lesser degree. A blaze vest is a good idea but not so good an idea if the colour(s) are visible to fewer rather than more others.
I ended up getting a Cactus one and having laser cut molle sewn on by Sabre tactical. No padding though.
Just my two cents, I’m a big proponent of Hi Viz gear and I’m guilty of having more orange than 3km of roadworks on SH6/ being visible from outer space.
Not exactly what you are after but I wear a two colour (orange chest/ yellow arms) long sleeve Hi Viz Vests from the local safety shop for a couple of reasons, more Hi Viz material means greater chance of being noticed, two colours hopefully improves the odds with colourblind hunters and or different lighting conditions and to counter the often mentioned argument that faded hi viz can look like red deer fur it allows you to replace it for a new more vivid edition every so often for 20-25$. I buy XL sizes so can wear all my bits and bobs, bingo harness, pouches etc under and covered by the Vest. It might give you more options to be able to look for a non blaze vest for the gear etc and just wear a cheap and replaceable ( and brighter more noticeable ) blaze item on top.
Good to see it becoming more popular these days in any case.

Go visit the warehouse.... Don't discount a decent polar fleece either when washing blaze items,all camo too.hang it inside out to dry so doesn't fade with sunlight.
