I suppose if you look at them purely as a tool and you are lucky enough to find one that shoots (they are really hit and miss), has the bore in the centre of the barrel and have some time to spend fixing things that really should be done at the factory hey are ok, or spend another hundy and get a second hand marlin which is way nicer?
Good on ya for getting it to shoot, I just like nice things so a Norinco will never be an option for me, even the .22 I am going to cut down for my youngster is a Brno model 2 (albeit one that has had a tough life and will be getting a new lease with this project!)
I never buy things considering that I am going to damage them, if they get a few bumps as a matter of use then that adds character!![]()
