    Lightbulb BoreBuddy 22LR upper receiver

Have anyone tried those upper receivers before? Are they more accurate, or more reliable than existing AR22s on the market?

I like the idea of having the weight adjustable bolt system to allow fine control of "locking time", as well as the longer barrel for weight balancing purposes. According to their export policy the upper reciever must be brought in by the dealer not individuals. I'ld like to get feedbacks if anyone have chance of using it before.

They'll export the barrels and bolt groups via easy export. You could fit them to an existing upper here like a Kriss, or one of the Formosan uppers Delta Mike sell.

I've just done similar, rebarreled a Kriss upper with a CMMG barrel/bolt kit.

I'd be interested in getting one of these uppers as well, especially the precision one.

Bore Buddy also do a complete 22WMR rifle that seems to be a UK exclusive thing.

I never thought about just brining in the barrel and the bolt! That's a good point.

It would be interesting to see if any dealer would like to import those receivers, as there is enough interest.

Lilja are great barrels but JP might be a better option?

I'm expecting AR22 Apogee Match Uppers to be around $2000 NZD. The lightweight JP upper brought in by Gunsnz is too expensive considering its value.. That's my thought.

That is true, would of been abit better if it was the precision version for that price.

The factory shorty/pistol uppers would probably be popular as well

Just talked to the FSA about this and they said anything new to the country has to go to the armory and get checked over which can take up to 5 months. I do know someone I shoot with that is doing builds with with match true flight barrels and thermo fitting them, also modifies the cmmg bolts to work. Might be the best way to go right now.

I'd just look for a broken Kriss to rebuild with decent parts. The barrels and bolts, triggers etc are easy enough to import. No issues getting permits from FSA for them.

I will send a quote to Easyexport for the rough cost to import BB match barrel + CMMG bolt with adjustable weight kit.

I will for sure be interested in a bolt but think I will go with a true flite barrel as they are reasonably priced.

Do they have ability to make CMMG 22LR barrel?

Yes, his setup now is a Kriss with a CMMG bolt group and a thermo fitted True Flite barrel.
