I emailed and asked and they said:
Shipping parcel post international air mail is the cheapest.
Fuck knows what option that is (the word priority doesn't sound cheap). They're idiots when it comes to this shit.
What banana said.
Arrives the same time as the $45 UPS option.
Truck/ocean...?! :o They do know the interstate doesn't cross the Atlantic or Pacific oceans, right? Right? Oh wait nevermind they probably do...
I used to always select Parcel Post Priority International @ around US$45 until I selected UPS Int'l Expedit by mistake. Now use it all the time as prices are around US$25 and the shipping time is the same.
Good guide.

for anyone that cares about shipping time, order placed on the 11th
this arrived in NZ tuesday, A/O customs rang wednesday, i picked up today, not far from work.
less than a week, cheapest shipping option
I don't even select a shipping option, just take the deferred method.
Almost always arrives in around a week.

I also ordered magazines on the 11th, they sitting in customs according to tracking, anyone got the address i can send my permits to, to save waiting for their letter?
Just made my order now, need some bipod mounts and shit. Should go get a permit for some mags. How many mags were you granted in your permit? I don't want to ask for too many or too little....

I ask, for 4 mags in each flavor, 4 AR20s 4 AR30s, 4ak 30s etc, never had an issue
and specify which gun they are for, seams to be there latest buzz, which gun there for.
i usually make a cart that works out to be $100 usd, and then get a permit for its contents,
and buy when i have said permit
I always send an email to the AO at NZ Customs - Auckland Airport when it ships and send permit (if required) in the post then.
Saves time and the AO is a good guy.

awesome, cheers. Sticky this thread
I'm guessing the permit process doesn't get around restricted export items? I just went through the process of getting a Proctor sling sent to my friend in colorado and he unpacked it, labelled it as a strap and mailed it to me....
With Brownells as soon as it goes over US$100 it attracts a US$250 state department fee.
wtf, my letter from Customs has just arrived and they require a copy of your firearms licence with the import permit... Has anyone not included the licence copy? Cos i didn't
Just did another sub $100usd gun parts order, Parcel Post Priority Mail International. (round $15usd shipping)
order placed Thursday night, arrived in NZ Monday, picked up from customs Tuesday, 5 days,
