Hahahaha @kiwijames Says the Blaser owner
Yes I have one in 308 & Yes it's a Browning. Mine's getting a timber make over at TJ's ( the finish was a bit milky ) can't wait to get it back as I really like it.
Good points - Nice timber & shape, points like a shotie, Solid self enclosed "BAR" action ( which is spring loaded ), great safety, Comes with a nice flutted barrel, good weight & well balanced & mine is very accurate ( with handloads )
Bad bits - Not probably the best "in the scrub gun" as has a few moving parts ie - The double front spring action is quite complicated and the trigger is the normal Browning poo ( but I'm a good enough marksman so it's not an issue ) :D
hi phillipo , good to hear positive points . I am yet to handle one of these , only recently noticed them . l like the style and would be interested in one in 9.3x62 as this is a grunty European calibre
A friend of of mine has one in 9.3x62 for wild boar shooting in France. He can shoot and reload faster with it than with his blaser.
@mawzer308 has one in that grunty caliber & has bowled plenty of Deer in the bush with it
