Thread: BSA Monarch Rings

Hi guys, I recently purchased a BSA Monarch 30-06. The scope on it is an older Nikko Stirling Silver Crown and the glass looks quite good so I think I might keep it on there for now but the objective is touching the barrel and I think this might be a bit of a no no? With this in mind I'd like to get taller rings but does anyone know what would work with the rails on the Monarch? I believe they are a 19mm dovetail but any suggestions on a good brand to go with?

Parker Hale rings. What is the height of the present rings - from the top of the dovetail to the bottom of the scope? I may have a set here that are the next height.

The height is 5mm. If you have a set higher than that that fits a 1" tube and can sell them id be stoked!

CZ also make 19mm dovetail rings so thats another option.
Parker hale rings are hard to come by so you might find a willing buyer or worthwhile swap for them. Those are the lowest rings I've ever seen.

The rings pictured are Huntsman brand. I can give you free the bottom parts which are 7mm high and you can use all the other parts you already have. PM me your name and address and I will send them to you.

gary's offer sounds like the go - I have 2 sets here, but theyre both labeled 26mm, a tad too big for a 1" Nicko
