Look through a few different brands and types before you buy anything. I wear spectacles and because my eyes are different I simply can’t focus some binoculars without glasses on. And Bino’s plus spectacles on a cold damp day are a serious pain in the arse. Plus the old saying “you get what you pay for” very much applies to binoculars. That said if you’re not sitting down glassing for hours in big open country, lower end binoculars will be fine.
Delta Optical Forest II are $450 but are worth the 10% extra. Search for reviews. You'll be impressed. Mine spent 24hrs in a stream and still clear, no fogging.

The Steiner's recommended by others are good too. Smaller and lighter than the Deltas. Clarity similar. Need to focus slightly less often with the Steiners than the Deltas when changing viewing distance.
