Honestly, pick either. I have the Burris and I'm very happy with it.

If you get the chance, look through both and choose the one you like looking through best.

what he said, and if no obvious preference, look at who has best warranty support. Transferable warranties likely have better resale value in the future...

What they said, and add that your rifle should be good to at least 600m for deer-size targets with 15x at the top end.

If you NZDA you have 15% off at Kilwell on the Meopta. They have really good glass for the money.

Have recently got the Burris Signature HD in 2-10 x 44 (non illuminated) and really rate it. Brought it as an upgrade because wanted dial turrets, although not zero locking, to replace the Burris 2-10 fullfield 5, which btw was still a bloody decent scope. As a beginner hunter I would probably suggest that fullfield. They run for about $700 and will do 99% of what you need and then use the savings on ammo etc. Also much simpler and more streamlined.

Toss a coin. The Meopta 4c reticle is really good and what type of reticle are you looking at with the Burris?
