About LinkBacksI have the big sister of this model, the 4.5-30x50 for long range shooting.
Can't fault it for the money.
I had a few other scope in my hand to compare with it before I bought it but they were more expensive:
S&b compact 5x20x50, USO 10x, nightforce 4x16x42atcr.
Other candidates would be the leupold 3x18x40 mk6 and the vortex 3x18x50 gen2
Be aware all of these are quite big and heavy for a little 223 , it would make more sense to fit them to an AR10 of some sort.
Mine weight 1kg!
