Heya guys, I'm off to Oz for the weekend and thought about having a nosey around the gun shops over there to see if they've got any heaps better deals than at home. If I was to find an absolute bargain, are there any pitfalls with bringing them back (physically as luggage)?
Given that their rules for firearm ownership are on par with the UK (some States you can only buy ammo for the calibre(s) you own), do your homework first.

Haven't found it cheaper parts wise, can anyone confirm does your NZ firearms licence work in Aus for purchasing items that require it ?
No! I have tried it and was refused but you are able to go to the copshop and get a permit on the proviso that what you buy will be leaving the country.Quote:
