An interesting play on the traditional goddess of hunting, Diana.

Anyway we can see what Weatherby consider suitable cartridges for men and women:

    Weatherby Mark V subalpine:
    257 Wby Mag
6.5 Creed (this is the only one that is also on the womens' list)
    6.5-300 Wby Mag
    270 Wby Mag
    300 Wby Mag

    Weatherby Mark V Camilla subalpine:
    240 Wby Mag
270 Win (confirming my belief that this is a light recoiling cartridge suitable for hunters under 75kg)
    6.5 Creed
    308 Win
    3006 Sprg

They seem to be popular or at least available in aussie.

Never heard of any girl using one here.

    Cool idea though.

Female version more expensive than the Male. Hmmm
Camilla also looks like a horse, so it wont catch on in NZ

    Camilla was Roy Weatherby's wife.

Nothing to do with Diana of any sort.

If it was the other Camilla we all know of, and the rifle looked like her, it wouldn't need ammo. It would just scare things to death!

I know Roy Weatherby Gifted a Mark V to Reagan. I think it was a 270WBY model from memory.

See they've shifted their facilities away from commiefornia to Wyoming recently ?

I am not surprised. I visited their Southgate shop in 1979 when Roy Weatherby was still alive, nice shop but an absolute shithole of an area with real gang problems. They moved to a nicer part of LA not long after.
