If it is for an A category firearm, the only 'part' you need a permit for is the action.

If an A category :

You do not need a permit for:
-stock
-magazines
-triggers
-or any accessories

For a pistol, MSSA, or restricted weapon, you need a permit for anything.

I would not recommend lying to a Customs or Police official.
