can you share 1 bolt across 2 rifles

I see GW are selling an SPSS in 7mm08 without a bolt. Apparently they had to buy a complete rifle to get a new bolt, which must be down to the silly import/export laws in the USA because you can buy spare bolts on midwayUSA and Brownells.

    Are SA rem700 bolts interchangeable?

As long as that one bolt is head spaced for both rifles it would be fine.

So you would have to get the new rifle that has no bolt head spaced using your current bolt. Providing the bolt face dia. is the same...

As long as you headspace it. If it is out, it can be a 20 minute job for any good smith to fix. I would be surprised if it didnt work out sweet.

For the extra $200 it would cost to buy a new rem with a bolt, i think i would rather have a bolt for each gun.
