Any idea on cost per rifle?
Cheers guys, sorry Google would have probably been an easier option!
Its awesome stuff there's no doubt about that, I just wondered where I could go to get stuff done while I was over.
Thanks again
macks has done a very short firearm of mine , did a great job ...and good price ...
Red Dot Rifles ( Auckland ) , Milspec Coating ( Auckland ) , Spec Firearm Coating ( Tauranga ) Use KG Industries Gun Kote . Greystone Guns uses Cera Kote and I think Deadeye Dicks uses Dura Coat .
If you go in to your local gun shop they will also be able to sort it out for you .
From Grunta's experiences with Mack's Ordnance, I wouldn't use them if THEY paid ME.
Got my .223 barrel coated just plain black by Stu at Greystone. The suppressor rubs slightly on the barrel leaving a slight mark and just a quick wipe with the thumb removes any blemish and the coating is still perfect. I quite rate the stuff.
while he did do a good job , it was a hassle with no contact at times and delays , ...but I cant fault the application of the cerakote .... almost ... but no I wouldn't use him again until he sorts his customer relations
Photos of work that's been done please?
Also what's the rules around having e cat rifles done? Send it without grip or....?
I would say you would need to transfer ownership to whoever is dong the work. They would need to have their E endorsement and be the legal owner while work is being carried out. Then reverse the process when you go to pick it up.
