    CHRISTENSEN ARMS MESA 28 NOSLER

So my mesa finally arrived from the states, brought through Stace at Hamils Tauranga.
Sourced a set of Quality Hawkins alloy rings from camo wsm who retails them, and fitted a LRHSi 4.5-18 that I had.
The Action is a Rem 700 type but with twin ejectors, sako type extractor, improved side bolt release and A mint Triggertech
    trigger.
Carbon stock with an excellent limbsaver pad.
26 inch barrel with factory screw on break with thread protector.
Action and barrel are stainless and factory Ceracoted.
    Factory 1moa accuracy guarantee.
Long story short its a hammer!
Every load tried under 1/2 inch! Cheers Greg tauranga's reloading guru
Just tried the 180 eldm 1st with 2217 then 2225
All shot great but settled on 2225 at 3130 - 1/2 inch at 200m
Not to bad for a cheapish factory rifle.

That is exceptional shooting for 1100meters or yards.

A mates got a 708 ridgeline line. They are an improvement over the earlier models they used to make. Awesome semi custom rifles for a cheaper than custom price. Nice accuracy there too von tempsky

Yeah Cowboy, they now make all their barrels in house, used to use Shilen I think.
    They are around $1300us.
You would really struggle to build a semi custom in NZ for the same price!

Hi Chainsaw, it was a hair over 7.2lb. The barrel profile looks to be slightly heavier in profile compared to a Rem 700 mag barrel
As far as "investment" it was cheaper than a Sako Finnlight.

Looks smart as man, and it clearly shoots as good as it looks!

That's a lot of 'bang for ya buck' i reckon. And its not heavy either - Trust me a full custom similar rifle is considerably more 'Investment' ;-)

Well done, a very good option.

Nice looking rig mate. Will do some serious damage at long range with that. Good choice with the ELD-M

Got to be happy when it shoots like that, what does it weigh all up scoped?
