About LinkBacksThere are a few 9.3x62's starting to float around, I sort of came by one because I collect Mauser sporters.
Mine is a Model B, 7 1/4 lbs. It is just behind a 375 H&H in power, but has a surprisingly mild recoil, I can comfortably shoot the 300 Gn solids (that came with the rifle) and I'm usually a recoil wuss.
The big plus is that with 232 or 250 gn projectiles (surely enough to flatten ANYTHING you'll ever come accross in Australasia - including Buffalo) it shoots quite flat, the Scandies use it for long range moose etc.
