Compressed loads and neck tension.
Hey guys, I need some more experienced people's help here. I've run out of 162amaxs so I was loading some 168 bergers for 280AI. I made some loads of 63.0gr 2225 and its pretty compressed but the problem is before I seat a projectile I can't push a projectile into the case mouth but after the projectile is seated the projectile can be spun inside the case by hand?
Is it just because its a compressed load or is there something I'm missing completely?
Compressed loads and neck tension.
Sounds like a classic AI problem. How many firings have the cases done and what cases are you using?
Did you form the cases from new?

OAL all seem consistent now they're loaded.
Sweet. Good result.
I have to reduce my bushing by .001 every 4-5 firings.
I don't use the expander because I get run out, no matter how careful I am.
Did you need to ream the necks once formed from new? (Doughnut)
