Could anyone confirm if this is the new law.

if so am i reading correctly that because a .22 has a detachable magazine and that there is a possibility of sum goose putting a large mag in it ,that it will be classified as mssa..
Yep that could happen.
I have an Armi Jager AP74 .22 currently on "E" cat.
Reasons
Mag looks like it could hold more than 15 rounds, actually hold 10
Has a pretend bayonet lug and a flash eliminator too even though there's not bayonet that can fit it and .22 don't generally give off much flash.
But I'm not too worried as I get to keep my E endorsement as a result. :)

This is what I've noticed. It doesn't really define magazines for Centrefire cartridges. I mean it does but it seems like a bit of a loop hole. Example an ar15 BB gun with a detachable 200 round magazine would be an E-Cat. Would this be so? Or is "cartridges" that zips up this loop hole.

BB guns are not firearms.
Firearms propel projectiles by force of explosion.
BB guns don't use an explosive the use compressed air or CO2

In what way? The only way it could possibly come up is if someone tried to prosecute you for illegal possession of an MSSA in which case it'd be pretty simple to put 15 rounds of .22 next to the obviously 10 round mag and say "clearly not a 15 round mag, fuck off"Quote:
