    CZ 512 22 magnum

    My son is looking to get a over barrel suppressor for a CZ 512 22 magnum semi auto i think he said a DPT ? CAN YOU GOOD PEOPLE please hit me with any pros and cons with this idea ,thanks .Pete .

    He realises it'll take the 'crack' out but not the bang? I use one on mine. Brings it down to Unsuppressed .22 super I reckon. Worth it, but make sure his expectations should be realistic.

    For the shooters hearing protection alone its a worth while investment. I have one on my CZ and wouldn't shoot without it.

    Only con with an overbarrel is removing the front sight on the CZ.
    For a .22Mag, the end type can won't weigh much or extend too far.

    Well worth doing in my opinion, I have two .22mags and find I only use the one with a can even though the other is the better rifle in every other way
