Thread: David tubbs fire lapping kit

I fire lapped an old 303 that looked buggered but was so black i coudnt tell. Used a slug of silica flour loaded in a 303 case with some shotgun powder to get it going. After two shots it was shiny bright and yep it was buggered but at least i couls see how badly.
Firing a charge of valve grinding compound down the bore is something you would not want to do too often.
