    Decent gunsmith around Auckland?

    Hey guys,
I've recently taken my boyds stock off my model 700 and put the original SPS one back on. I'm wanting to get it glass/pillar bedded.

Anyone know any decent gunsmiths around Auckland? I've typically gone to MAE to get work done but for threading etc they're quite expensive. Not even sure if they do bedding.

Arthur Cleland in Hamilton is pretty good for hunting rifles & very resonably priced. All my target & long range stuff I send to Harvey Westland in Christchurch.

I am a little bias here but you could take it into Wills Fishing and Firearms who i believe use Malcolm Gillice in Rotorua for a fair chunk on the gunsmithing.

Ok. Hamilton is less than an hour away from me so might try to give him a buzz. Found his site: Cleland Gunsmithing and Engineering

    Thanks guys.
