Thread: Dovetail Rings

Hey team,

I've recently acquired a CZ455 and am in need of either: 1" dovetail rings -OR- dovetail to picatinny adapter (the CZ455 is 11mm). I've been made aware that 3/8 and 11mm aren't the same, even though 3/8 seems to be the only option available?. So I'm wary of buying anything at this stage because I'm not sure if it'll work. To those who have the same or similar rifle, what are you using to mount your scopes? And where can I find something that works?

I bought a pic rail from reloaders that fits all of the different dovetails. was not cheap! but works nicely

Weaver rimfire rings are a good option for dovetail rings. They are made to fit both 3/8 and 11mm dovetails, you just turn the clamp around depending on which dovetail is on your rifle.

Should have said Warne rimfire rings.

Burris make a 22 dovetail version of their Signature Zee rings with the polymer inserts. They come with clamps for both 3/8" and 11mm. Part number is 420554. Gunworks appear to have them in stock.

OHHH I was struggling to find 11mm specifically, but the reversible clamp makes sense. Thanks for enlightening me, I'll probably go with these.

I used the Warne rings on my CZ452, both the 1" and 30mm versions. Good rings
