Thread: DPT seized baffles

Had to disassemble many of these DPTs in a previous role and many were well seized, I soaked them in Nut Cracker and and used hose clamps over strips of leather to gain purchase for unthreading and it them worked well but those tools you made look nifty as well

Been using anti seize grease in small amounts on the threads of each baffle that is rated to handle heat. Seems to be working last few months - still taking apart to clean after each trip where I have fired a shot or two. But previously having some baffles stuck together after one shot fired on a trip became a right pain in the arse.

Are you using a heat safe one ?? Does it even matter ?
Just got a new dpt so I'll get some and look to avoid this
