Lol reminds me of the golden rule when I worked in the computer industry.... Step 1, is it plugged in
Mind you that was back in the days of Windows 3.1 which came on 4 X 3.5 inch floppy disks, so things might be different now

Decided motor was stuffed, replaced motor, test run ok, refit gearbox, test run ok again.
Refit motor and gearbox to conveyor, test run....nothing. F#(k it all.
Gave it a push to get it running, proceed to check amps on wiring and one of the cables falls out of the terminal.

if its the same as the older tang safety model...the middle one should be not much more than finger tight.... there are plenty of posts on google search with figures...I did middle one just nipped up and the other two firm...and mates rifle shoots better than we can hold it....

Swapped out an engine in my sons Corolla many years ago because I couldn’t get it to run. Still didnt run properly. Was a 12 dollar resistor over by the coil.

Unfortunately he is classified as unclean by worksite management and has not been allowed on site for many months due to his vaccination status.

That was a thing wasn't it? Hopefully it's all over shortly and back to normal - seeing as it's the 'Dum' thread haha!

Without starting a debate on this yes it is DUM. Thought with the latest removal of government rules this would have changed. I won't be commenting further on this subject here.

Thanks MD, I realised as soon as I posted it was a stupid question (quite fitting given the thread title I suppose), i haven't found the exact figure but general consensus seems to be around the 45ft/lbs for the angled screw in the action and around 35 for the others. Encouraging to hear of your mates rifle - I think I've got a bit carried away with chasing accuracy as I was perfectly happy with the Ruger until I bought a Sako which shoots cloverleaf groups; had to remind myself minute of deer within 200m is perfectly adequate.

You'll probably break the screws if you try to torque them to 45 ft/lbs. I think 45 inch/lbs would be more like it.

Yes, I was doing some bolts at work to 58ft/lb the other day. Was an extremely good pull on 1/2" drive torque wrench.
