While looking around for a 223 I’ve noticed quite a few bolt action 7.62x39’s such as the howa’s. I’ve always thought of them as big projectiles that fall out of the air reasonably quickly. Does anyone know to what range they would be effective on goats etc and what would be the longest range they would remain consistently accurate to (with decent hunting rounds)?
