    eye cups for binos

I have come into the possession of a set of little tasco 10x25 binos.
BUT the little rubber eyecups are missing. I know they aren't top line but they are a handy set especially for free.
Are there any replacements around or ones that can be adapted?

Most probably too small but maybe something like this

    https://www.aliexpress.com/item/10pc...ceBeautifyAB=0

Or just keep hunting on ebay/aliexpress and you are bound to find something you could use/adapt

edit: try "microscope eye cups" https://www.aliexpress.com/w/wholesa...20180227011658

Get a fat O ring of suitable size, and jam inside the rims and up against the outer edge of the lens. Stops lens glass from scratching directly against your (sun)glasses. They all generally work fine without shades including when you don't wear glasses and you get full field of view. Non-problem.

Or play with 3" long piece of racing bicycle inner tube folded back on itself, cut ends together and away from you, the fold against your face.

And @Boaraxa, chillingly pertinent signature quote. Can you include a link to the source in your signature?

Cordite-its pretty flat-nowhere to jam an oring-just the slot the eyecups would go into. although the bike tube may work-lense tubes pretty small so some folding required.
guypie-the second link was pretty close to what I'm after.
Boaraxa-its just a hard alloy body, no rubber armour to jam anything into.
