    Fake Ziess scope TM

The seller may not be aware but I can't make a comment on the auction. Maybe they are on to me, and labeled me a shit stirrer?

I can ask a question, the button works for me, I can say it's fake if someone tells me the telltale sign

That's what made me notice the scope. That seemed like a good package, accurate rifle but maybe him saying fair condition means something different to what we might expect

Zeiss never made a 4-16x 1 inch front focus scope. That’s the give away!

Key Differences Between Genuine and Counterfeit Scopes
Genuine Zeiss scopes can be differentiated from fake models by several factors:
Illumination Color: Genuine Zeiss scopes with illumination only use a red reticle. Scopes featuring red/green illumination are universally considered fake.
Parallax Adjustment: The authentic Conquest V4 4-16x44 model features side parallax adjustment (AO stands for "Adjustable Objective," which is an older, objective-lens-based system often found on fakes).
Model Specifications: Scopes with "AOMC" (Adjustable Objective Multi-Coated) in the description are common counterfeit identifiers and are not part of the genuine Zeiss product line. The genuine 4-16x44 does not have the letters "AO" written next to the "MC" on the eyepiece.
Price: If the price is "too good to be true" (e.g., $150 USD), it is likely a counterfeit.
Manufacturing Location/Shipping: Authentic Zeiss Conquest V4 scopes are manufactured in Japan. Be wary of products shipped from places like Hong Kong while claiming to be "Assembled in USA".
Logo/Markings: The lettering and logo on real scopes are fine and subtle. Fakes often have bright white, rough, or poorly aligned decals.

Yeah it was the paragraph written on the objective lens end that struck me.
    Unsophisticated... AF!

I seen this yesterday and went to comment only to find out im blocked? Never even delt with the seller. The red and green illumination is another giveaway, as seen in all the fake leupold and bushnells. Hopefully buyers can identify its a fake before handing over the cash

There is usually a reason behind being blocked, and usually it is because of comments made on listings...learn from it. The scope may well be fake but who knows if it is of lesser quality.

If you sell fake items TM can and does remove the listings. I've had this happen to some of my listings that I said were fake

If you stand by your opinion that its fake just report the listing to TM

You think it likely that a fake Zeiss is of equivalent quality to the real thing?
