About LinkBacksWe pretty much stopped exporting last year due to this as NZ Post was the only affordable shipping option for firearms parts.
The actual NZPost policy is that sights are allowed but all other parts arent. The policy is in writing somewhere as it was shown to me. The other issue most people arent aware of is that you need an export licence for scopes from MFAT. We have had scopes si tin NZ customs on the way out of the country for over a month unknown to us waiting for a permit to export.
