Very interesting clip. I know it's on farcebook but still cool. I never realized how they did the shaping on these sort of rifles. I suppose I presumed they used a bit more controlled grinding and filing not some pretty cool looking chisels

Yup. The final filing and polishing I get completely. Just didn't realise how much metal was removed with chisels

Oh yeah. If you want REALLY nice stuff, you have to pay for it. I’m inletting a stock for a .404 Jeffrey at the moment, and the action is descending into the wood at the rate of about 10 thou an hour…. Got about 80 thou to go. Perfection costs
