I dont own any expensive scopes , because I dont need that kind of money sat on a 80 meter rabbit rifle.

I do own a lot of lower end scopes - not the Gun City type of entry level stuff but Burris , Simmons , Nikko-Stirlings that perform more than adequately for my purposes . Scope snobbery is not something I suffer from.

Find the reticle that you like , in a scope that you like and can easily afford , and have at it. If you bust a Simmons you havent busted more than the cost of your rifle .....

it will be a bargain for a first rifle, i know it shoots well as i have been with him on many a bunny hunt

Half of me likes your post, the other half is saddening.
Some of my firearms are from FIL & BIL deceased estates, sad times ahead sorry to hear @gonetropo.

poor guy went to the dentist thinking its a rotten tooth, turned out it was facial cancer. he is in treatment and going ok but i think his days of hunting are over.
but the guns will be advertised here before anywhere else, along with a gunsafe etc.
all are in excellent condition, cleaned on the return home etc.

The Citadels appear to be make by that Brazilian company (CBC think), the make the same actions that are used in the Rossi rimfires and Mossberg rimfires. The Citadel furniture is just ugly.
