Flash Hider
Hi guys,
Just got my E Cat endorsement and now want to change the muzzle brake for a Flash hider. Sick of the all the moaning I get at the range about shooting air back in everyone's faces. Do you guys know where I could find one of these fairly standard looking ones for a decent price?? Would be screwing onto an NEA 5.56/.223 AR15 with standard thread. You would be saving me a world of grief! Pic attached. Cheers

Of course. How else can people put it on their A-cat rifle?
-
Lots of people think they are the same thing. :S

That is one of the stupidest features that create an MSSA.
In a country that has zero restrictions on suppressor/silencer ownership or use. You can't use a flash hider, but feel free to use a suppressor. Seriously, wtf?
Really shows that those involved in the writing of the Act had no clue.

just put a suppressor on it and it will keep the range dwellers happy

You don't have to use a flash hider or brake, just get a $15 1/2 x 28 thread protector.
Need to gas bust the AR charging handle or have an adjustable gas block if you use the suprresor for a service rifle shoot.
90 odd rounds later wthout either of those and your eyes are watering from the ammonia fumes.

^^ depends how over gassed your gun is to start with, and the suppressor
Flash hider is better than bare muzzle
-
Added bonus of using the suppressor is after 90 rounds, you can cook your lunch on it.

Found one on Brownells. $6.99 lol. Will pick one up from there
