Timney trigger the .260 I had was a sweet little rifle I just wanted a bit more of an alrounder otherwise I would have kept it.

If you have your 12x to Norway he would wind it back to 10x.
Not saying a 2-12 is bad, but due to lack of funds I put little 2-8 scopes on a couple of my rifles where 14x used to be and I like it.
You can still shoot a long way in 8x and there is a lot to be said for little scopes.

The Leupold distributor has run out of the 2-8x36 VX3 which suggests something
He only ordered two as they’re rubbish?
6x8=48, which means the best part of 500m with an open sight equivalent range of 62m. When hunting I'm not trying to do a fancy three shot group to show my mates, I'm just trying to hit a dinner plate.
Any setup that's good to 500m sounds pretty versatile and all round to me, as regardless what hunting magazines or forums say these days 500m is a long long way.
So far so good. On paper inside 5 shots and okayish with the free box of Federal Fusion 150g. It's a little bit more lively than my other suppressed rifles but being just 5-1/2lbs scoped was never going to help. Thanks to @Ginga for the loaner loopy.

What did you pay for it "new" but secondhand?
I have a 6.5x55 LH.
Love it will never sell it.
Great Bush gun, have cut it back to 20 inched ans suppressed. Its about 6.5lb including scope and suppressor.
Never miss fired but it doesn't feed great.
The Leupold VX 3i 3.5-10 CDS is also a nice light scope that would be well matched on the Forbes .308.
@Ted6. 5 I knew that heading would get your attention :pacman:
Kiwi James I will work on getting a picture up.
Yeah John
Question on the trigger for those with one.
I'm wanting to confirm:
The set screw with the lock nut on the rear of the trigger is the sear.
The lower set screw at the front is the pull weight.
The upper set screw at the front is the overtravel.
Correct I hope.
