Rit loves his Ruger American Frazer. They are pretty damn light about 5.5lb shoot pretty well and are cheap as. I set one up for the old man too in 233 cut to 14” with a can and red dot. Shot a few Roos and pigs with it. I’ve shot a 308 adrianik without a suppressor, nice wee rifle but you’ve got to hang onto them reasonably tight.

6.2lb according to Ruger website, about the same as a T3 lite.

Savage lightweight hunter keeps tempting me, 5.5lb with wood stock which I prefer to the plastic fantastics.
