Seems fair to share good experiences when I'm sometimes prone to sharing frustrations...
Got a firearm dropped into Dunedin H&F for them to send up to my local store (Napier). Got the Mail Order form completed, the seller did his bit, I paid Dunedin H&F their $60 fee (my local guys don't charge to receive)... and I waited for the call from the local H&F to tell me it had arrived. And I waited, and waited.
Chased them up today, to find that they hadn't heard a dickie from Dunedin. So called Dunedin H&F to discover that one of their team had received the rifle, placed it in a corner of the strong room and forgotten to tell anyone about it. It's been sat there for 10 days already. Whilst it was sat there, the Mail Order form got lost.
Fortunately, the seller had given me a copy of the approved Mail Order form, so was able to send that to Dunedin H&F. They felt sufficiently bad about the experience that they refunded the $60 fee I had paid.
All in all, is just my impatience that has suffered...
