    FX Impact air rifles

Does anyone have any first hand experience with the FX Impact?
Anyone imported or in the process of importing the new Mark 3?

The NZ distributors aren't interested in importing them so keen to understand what routes others have used to get FX rifles into the country.

Watching with interest. I really like the look of these, have been a fan of the Air Arms Hunting channel for a long while and been impressed with how these rifles perform. Have you seen how they go with the slugs vs pellets? Quite something.

Why won’t the NZ distributor bring in the MK 3?

Ron at Youngs Airguns in Auckland had a FX Maverick on the wall last week, probably still there. Different rifle, but look extremely similar. Just depends if you're set on the Impact or are open to a similar rifle

He has a fairly narrow view of what he believes the NZ shooter should be shooting.

The Impact would be my first choice due to magazine position and capacity.

Is that the mag at the rear, the disk? How many pellets?

    Yes.

    38 @ .177
    28 @ .22 and .25
    23 @ .30
    18 @ .35

The key advantages with the Impact form is that the underslung mag makes optics easier, and being a bullpup, the overall length is shorter making it easier for front sling carry.

Im also looking at the FX Impact - been following Matt Dubber for as long as I can remember. The Impact is in my opinion the best in its class.

I’ll second Matt Dubber and his videos but being a lefty the impact is out for me.

I do however like the FX streamline but I don’t think the NZ distributor is doing the FX line any justice

Maybe we need a progressive gun industry entrepreneur to take up the challenge of supplying market leading FX PCP's - @55six ?

I've got a .25 cal streamline in Canada, lots of fun and very accurate, looked hard at a couple used FX Impacts and decided not to bother, lot higher price for not much gain,

I am happy with it, getting to be more options for stocks and components at least here in Canada,
Picked it up on sale for $899, plastic stock version, am considering getting a tac stock, and a bottle, and a.22 cal short barrel,
trigger is fantastic and its very accurate, can out shoot every .22 long rifle I own,

When i rang Air gun source, and talked to them about air rifles, the big comment, was do you want to shot a functioning air rifle or tinker around, and try get the last 5%-10% of extra performance, if you want to tinker get the Impact, its very adjustable, the streamline not as much, more options now, new powder plenum and valving aviable.
I was keen on an Impact, but the more i shoot this streamline, the more i like it,
