I recon Bagheera is almost there, yep put a 24" barrel on the 284 and that has you sorted for most NZ game out to 5-600 mtr but would work close in as well with stouter projectiles.
Then just to be different from everyone else who shoot's a punny 30cal I would change that 308 to a 358 win or 338 fed. Set up for in close but still capable of taking shots to 300 mtr. 200 mtr zero = 3.75" high at 100, and 6" low at 250 mtr and 15" low at 300 mtr. Thats Ok on a red deer at 300 and any other NZ game out to 250 mtr.

I’m with ZQ... your calibres and cartridges are too close together in power and hole size, you might as well have just one rifle.

His 284 load will still blow an animal off its feet at 5-600m. 160tmk doing a fair clip. My old 162eldms in a 19" 284 doing 2770 were good to 800+
