    I am getting old ,I noticed the cocked hand gun first , on second thoughts it may be I have only handled 10 or so guns like that
    In actual fact the 500S&W has more muzzle energy than many of the old black powder , and some nitro, calibers used in double rifles for shooting Elephants etc . It would be great on Grizzly bears in Alaska
    Get as close as you can then six feet closer
