    Good mounts for a p14/17 action

    Looking to put a scope on one of these what have people found works for them.

    If the rear ears have been removed and the action altered to the BSA factory radius then one-piece bases for the long action Remington 700 are very good. If the action is unaltered then a mount will have to be custom made.

    Gunworks custom fitted a rail to a p17 for me 15 years ago,or so and I nor it's current owner have had any issues. Was fairly cheep at the time from memory but I wouldn't do it to a factory spec rifle these days

    Still has the ears but is not in original condition so both options may be a goer

    Yep, b-square is making a rail for the p14/17.
    I used to have one that I milled down underneath so that it could ride lower at a proper angle. On the action.
    They kind of ok .
