@ 25/08 IMP did you look at the Kahles Helia? Quite a bit cheaper. Dunno if it is the GPO below you're are talking about but seems like both have angle compensation, though I think the GPO is nearly twice the range.

@nathanF on here had Kahles and moved them on quite quickly.
That comparison above is GPO 10x50 compared with Kahles 10x42.
GPO 10x40 only about $300 difference.

Just got back from a week away hunting open country with my 10x42 GPO's and I have been very impressed.
Good till last light and ranged very quick out to some crazy distances. Horizontal correction appears to be spot on too.
If I had swaro or leica money I'd buy those, but for GPO money these are hard to beat.
Slightly cooler image color than my old HG's but that was actually really helpful when glassing in really bright conditions.
Don't think the mention worked properly. Curious why he didn't like them as the price is decent.
@Nathan F
I bought s brand new pair of swaro 10x42 rangefinder binos and absolutely hated them. Took them on one trip and half the time they wouldn't read a range and the delay was ridiculous. I took them back to the store and got a pair of GPO range guides in 10x50 and never looked back. Just as clear if not clearer than swaro, nicer to hold, more compact, the range is easier to see in the binos, they have a much faster response time. Just better all round! They're fantastic for the money. I wouldn't thank you for a swaro set! Rubbish. And in a swaro man... love my swarovski dial up scopes, but not the binos
I brought them. Used them once. Realised I should have just spent the money in the first place and got a pair of swaro EL range 10x 42s and love em. Prior to this I had leica geovids for ten years. It is my opinion that the swaro glass is better than anything else first and last light
@Forestry what issue # is that article in please. Should have it on the bookshelf. Cheers
