It's the word
Seriously...frog lube.
Pretty sure lithium grease is supplied by the manufacturer (Nielsen Sonic and Stealth) but in all honesty any reasonable grease would work. I think it’s more to do with regular dismantling and not letting the elements corrode together
I use silicone grease, whatever you use ensure it is safe for use on rubber so it doesn't destroy the O rings
The red CRC lithium grease has been working well. Only seems to come in a large tube so I’ve got a 100year supply.
Giant brand
"Black Beast"
Lithium complex Moly EP2
apparently it has a higher resistance to heat, was recommended by a manufacturer, I think DPT from memory?
Shell Gadus grease as recommended and used by DPT.
I've put never-sieze on one of my supressors and grease on the other. The never-seize is working the best.
I use copper based anti seize but also put a sleeve of bicycle inner tube over the suppressor. It serves two purposes. First it makes it a bit quieter if you bang it on anything (and protects it) and secondly you don't have to do the sections up very tight as they can't unscrew with the tube over top of them. It makes it very easy to get them apart if needed.
I have been using lanolin based grease, it is used by boaties and will allow threads to be undone years after putting together. Not sure if it eats rubber though?
I use the Loctite LB 8070 Heavy Duty Anti-Seize Stick
From nz safety blackwoods (seem to be half the price of other places)
Great temp range -29°C to +1315°C easier to deal with as comes like a glue stick
And is more of a paste then most grease
Metal free so is also alloy safe
Cosmoline - specifically, Russian 1960's vintage.
