Out of curiosity does anyone know if gun city chch take trade in's?
Wondering if there was any point, or if they did would the price be so low that it is better to sell on tardme. Not pushed to off load due to cash but was thinking of going from 22LR to 17hmr and don't need both, xmas is just around the corner...

They do take trade ins when buying something else, if they want to. Quite a few shops do, but while you might get more $$ from a private sale, a shop will give you a $$ value for the trade in with a final selling price, and their profit in mind.
Generally most shops will want to double their money on the trade in price, so usually plenty of margin for private sale
Gc do tradeins, i have sold a few guns to the outright as well.
But if your not lazy or in a rush then a $1 reserve on tardme would get you more $.
Ok thanks. In no rush as I have just started to shoot it and its in very good condition, its a marlin xt-22 about a year old.
Will ask and see what they can do, i don't mind the increase price of 17 hmr ammo.
