Remington did a few different ones around that time I saw an ADL in Taihape that had a stock unlike any I had ever seen or seen again- still had no floorplate but was a delux stock for sure

Sounds sweet, they have a 20in barrel right? I tried to find a Brno Model 22 carbine in 7x57 for years but gave up.

Yes, years ago I passed on an option of a M21 7x57 with 20in barrel because back then I thought it was too short. This was before I came to my senses and went hunting for a M22.
Once when I was too poor to be poking around gun shops, I was in Ballangers old shop, there was a very tidy Steyr Mannlicher model M full wood in 7x57, had to shut my eyes and slink off. It's out there somewhere.

    2nd best caliber
Real guns start with the number 3 or bigger and make two holes, one in and one out

Got this back today. The infamous "oops I drilled a hole in the chamber" rifle. Now with 18.5" 8 twist truflite chambered in 6 creedmoor and a Zeiss Conquest on it. Had it profiled to match factory profile and has alloy bottom metal. Hopefully get out and shoot it some stage next few days.

Wow that is a huge improvement asthetically.....I actually thought it was a Lupo at first glance.
They really do look a bit odd in black, nice job

The green stocked ones look good but can’t get them here. Also there are factory wood stocks but I hate to think what they would cost and weigh

Got the rig back after getting the stock mag fitted with a new alloy guard. I had an accurate mag setup previously as I thought I’d need the extra length for custom loads but the 130eldm were shooting really well.
Tried the Deer Season 125 and holy hecka they are crazy accurate in this rig.
Mitch did the refit and had GunWorks flute the bolt.
Popped the scope back on after all the work and it hit in the same POI so no wasting time or ammo.
    Absolute result!!

@Ryan_Songhurst ...A quick sand with 400 grit (or there abouts) and a spray with matt clearcoat...that stock will look like a bought one...and be less slippery in the wet. I turn the air pretty much off and texture the clearcoat with heavy drops at the end of painting...even better grip levels.
