A wise man once said "friends don't let friends buy Tikkas" but on this occasion he must have failed as a friend. Originally wanted a 223 for small critters and the odd deer here and there but came into a heap of ammunition gathering dust in the back of a hangar so trebly it is.

Thats nice. What is the stock? Twist?

That is one calibre you don’t see often in a tikka!

What is the ammo you obtained?

Just a stockys stock I had nothing too flash I'm not a massive fan of it to be honest as find it a bit wide and woukd prefer something a bit trimmer as a carry about rifle but will do the trick for now, rifle was in a factory Varmint stock which is nice but even chunkier. I haven't measured the twist but pretty sure they only did them in 14 or 12 which is fine by me as I have a substantial amount of 50gr sp ammunition to chew through

I will keep his name a secret least the tikka brigade burn him on a pyre of plastic (although it is nice to see that the T3x now at least has a metal bolt shroud)

I bought a CZ 455 17hmr from a forum member, replaced the stock with an mdt oryx chassis from another forum member, and threw on a nikko sterling platinum 3.5-10x45 scope from yet another forum member. (Unfortunately rings and suppressor were from gun city) Many thanks to those who helped a rookie like me piece this together. So stoked!

Scored a second hand VX-1 for the BRNO, should be a lot better for the range. Love this rifle, bought a bunch of different ammo to see what it likes. I feel like I could spend hours at the range

Never ending shuffling round of scopes and suppresors and rifles here. Have decided to sell my DPTs and Gunworks suppresor and just go to two Hausken Lites with bushes for each rifle, first one showed up today. Probably a bit of overlap with my current rifles and calibers but variety is the price of life.

Howa Superlite, was a 308, rebarelled in 6mm creedmoor, Zeiss Conquest V4 4-16×44,
starting to really love this thing plenty of killing power and super easy to shoot especially mounted on tripod with MTN Gear hybrid pic/arca rail so can also run the MTN bipod.

Tikka T3x 222, put my Leica Amplus 2.5-15 on it as it was on my 6.5 creedmoor but probably the best scope I have for shooting wee critters with the side focus and illumination etc

Bergara Premier Mountain 6.5 creedmoor, possibly rebarrel this to something else down the line as really love the action and it shoots well but the 6.5 creed is a bit 2008 now and a bit bored of it, also swapped out the bottom metal and mag box to Hawkins as the factory one is a solid steel lump of a thing that doesn't belong on a lightweight rifle and has a Wyatt extended mag box in it also. Has a Zeiss DL with ASV turret that I originally bought to put on my 222 but suits this
better and the scope that was on it suits the 222 better.

Sounds like that Bergara needs to become a 338 Federal or 358 win so you have something different to the rest!
